After two flights from Chicago to Toronto to dublin. Squeeze in the middle seat for both flights of 3 seats per row, landing at 10am (4am Chicago time) and not actually getting out of the airport until about noon. Long line for entry. I finally made it. Excited. A little. Since I'm only spending the first day in dublin I bought the dublin pass for €39 and right now I'm drinking a pint of Guinness beer courtesy of visiting the factory here. . I know it's 10am Chicago time but it 4pm here. After words I'm gonna tour the whiskey factory. Don't worry I went to St. Patricks cathedral first. Can't show up there with alcohol in my system. All in all the 1 day pass is a bargain. Got a ride into the city from the airport, entry in into church (€5.50), Guiness( €16.5) and whiskey is (€14.5) plus I got a mocha (€3.30) and 10% off the play I'm gonna see today. Sadly the extra hour delay at the airport preventing me from visiting the zoo. Oh well. By the way my feet hurt like hell. I bought a bus card but have I used it? Nope. Figured the time it takes to figure out the schedule I could work. But I'm definitely gonna take the train back to the hostel. Luckily it's only a block away from Abbey theatre. Granted these blocks are LONG. Longer then Chicago blocks. Look at the pics I've took today.
